Daring to grow
What if the key to transformation was a question we've been afraid to ask, let alone put into practice?
Hey there,
I'm reaching out a bit later than usual this time. The reason? I've been caught up in a transformative practice that's been unfolding in our community and my own life. It's all about a simple question that's turned things upside down (in the best way) for us at IMMA.
In every IMMA community event, there is space to connect with others but also to work on your business. We essentially create space for the important but not urgent things. Often, this is done by providing thought-provoking prompts.
In one of our first sessions, the question was inspired by the work of Liz Mosley:
"If your goal was to receive three rejections, what would you dare to try?"
It wasn’t just a theoretical question; it was a call to action - a challenge to stretch ourselves out of our comfort zone into our aspirations.
What happens when you start to chase ‘No thank you’
The results 30 days later are transformative, and we are just at the beginning:
Here’s What Happened
People are getting onto podcasts.
They’ve put themselves forward to speak at big events.
They applied and landed projects they never thought they could.
Me? I ended up recording a wonderful podcast episode with Adam Forbes from Corporate Escapologist and got a mention in his upcoming book.
As well as this, I decided to apply for a program to take IMMA to the next level, which meant that I needed to create a pitch deck for the very first time and put my vision into writing. No matter the outcome, the clarity that I gained from this process is the real win. Sometimes, we need a good deadline to get something done, and so this week, I went all in on it.
What this shows is that if we're not out there getting those "no thank yous," we're missing out on so much growth.

If the idea of pushing boundaries, embracing challenges, and being part of a supportive community excites you, we're here. Because at IMMA, it's all about making change, not just waiting for it.
The shortcut
Very simple, what are you going to dare to try?

Behind the Scenes at IMMA:
We've just wrapped up our second month at IMMA. Here are some of the highlights:
Feeling a bit worn out by the end of January (and truly grateful for your support), I've paused my one-on-one virtual coffees for some much-needed nap time. :) But, if you're curious about IMMA, join us at our bi-weekly 'Explore IMMA Sessions.' It's a cozy meet-up where you can learn about our story and ask anything on your mind.
We're tackling procrastination head-on with our new ritual 'Procrastination Power Hour'—because even as our own bosses, we all need a nudge to get things done.
Want to expand your network? Join us for 'Impactful Connections' on February 21st for a meaningful networking session.
Thanks for reading, I appreciate you.

Start chasing rejections.
Well, this is a perspective I never thought of before. We are often so focused on getting a "yes", which still can lead to a rejection in the first place.
Okay, I'll try. Let's see where it takes me :)
