How easy is it for you to switch off?
It's summer and holiday season, or should we say a slower season in business? So it's the perfect time to leverage ChatGPT to get your work done faster so you can enjoy your well deserved time off.
I’m back from my holiday. I expected it hard to switch off. My initial plan was to spend a few hours crafting this newsletter on Friday. But I thought better of it and opted for a bike ride to the beach to recharge my batteries instead.
So this newsletter comes a few days later. I'm guessing you didn't even notice - we're pretty good at making things feel urgent when they really aren't, right? Do you ever catch yourself doing that too?
I don't have a solution for it but I feel that self-awareness and asking ourselves the question if things are truly urgent is the first step.
Me and my friends and work besties since my time in London’s Design Agencies. ♥️
A car full of water fetched from the spring. Somehow I ended up in a home without running water. 😅 Some would call this training for the future.
A view over Castellamare del Golfo in Sicily, but if you look close, you'll see wildfires in the backdrop. Holidays, old pals, and the reality of the climate crisis - all tangled up together.
The shortcut
A few of you have been asking how I've been using ChatGPT in my work. So, I thought, why not show you? I made this video; it's a bit of a walk-through.
Together with the fab Lucy Stewart and Belina Raffy we created a pitch deck for the Climate Resiliency Challenge. Ultimately, we were not selected as finalists, which like rejection, stings, but it’s not the end of the idea.
Now, a heads-up: I left the video unedited. Why? Because I think we all need to remember that not everything has to be 100% perfect all the time.

P.S. Noticed a lot of design roles? It's because our mailing list has grown organically, attracting many designers. I've never paid for advertising IMMA, so our community has a bit of a design lean at the moment.

🎬 A sneak peek at what's happening behind the scenes:
