Our newsletter is turning one π
Time to look back on how things have evolved over a year and do a little spring cleaning.
Guess what? Itβs been a whole year since we started this newsletter journey. Time flies, huh? π
I'm truly grateful. In a year, we've grown to almost 2,000 friends, shared 625 freelance gigs in the climate and impact space, run 20 free events, and welcomed 40 members since January. But what really fills my heart is the impact we're making together.
Learning & evolving
This year was full of experiments. Some ideas were successful, others not so much, but each taught us something valuable. Your feedback is crucial on this journey, so please feel free to share your thoughts and suggestions.
Support Systems for you:
With all the changes, I thought it would be a good moment to remind you of the resources available, no matter where you are in your entrepreneurial journey:
Starting out?
Our free quiz, "Are you ready to freelance?" is a great starting point. And if you're looking for a deeper dive, Seed might just be your next step. Itβs all about laying strong foundations, so you donβt have to figure it all out by yourself. (The next cohort starts on April 15th, and there are a few spots left.)
Seasoned freelancer or consultant?
Our free monthly networking events are perfect for expanding your network. And for those looking to take their business to the next level, our Nurture membership offers peer support, resources, and opportunities that are worth exploring.
Over to you
This newsletter started as a small idea to share and help. Seeing it grow because of you means a lot to me. But Iβm curious about you too. If you look back over the year, how have you grown? Whatβs been something that worked out, or whatβs been a challenge?
I can go first: Focusing on one little step at a time has proven helpful, especially when you see little immediate results, but over time, they compound. One thing that I didnβt expect is how hard it would be to bring together people who have chosen independence. This paradox is evident to me now, but maybe I naively didnβt see it at the beginning.
Anyway, hereβs to another year of small steps and showing up consistently for yourself and each other. Thanks for being here.
