The best of the best in the climate and social impact space
Feeling drowned in info? What if we collectively curate our favourite must-read resources?
If you're like me, the internet can feel like a never-ending maze, especially when we're trying to learn more about the climate, or unlearn some of the misconceptions that got us into this mess—like the idea that there can be limitless growth on a planet with finite resources.
My friend Lisa said something that really stuck with me: “I see a monster coming, and I feel helpless.” At first, I thought she was talking about some looming natural disaster. But nope! She was referring to that massive 3675-page climate change report from the IPCC.
A lot of what's out there is buried in big, stuffy reports. Other times, it's people sharing ‘250 climate resources’ on LinkedIn. It sometimes feels to me that we get so tangled up trying to figure it all out that we forget to actually do something 🙈
Being informed is crucial, and tools like ChatClimate.ai, which uses AI to make the IPCC report accessible, are fantastic.
So, here's an idea
Instead of sifting through it all, why don't we share our top finds with each other? Do you have a favorite article, video, or website? Something you think, "Everyone should see this!”?
Drop your recommendations in the comments! I'll compile our top picks into a neat Notion page.
To start us off, I've got this interactive piece on the climate crisis. It's witty, digestible, and confronts the big issues with a kind heart.

The spotlight
This week, check out the work of Afreen Salaut, the founder of 100kicks.
She's a researcher, footballer, writer, and most importantly, a lover who envisions and works towards a better world.
With 100kicks, she assists organizations in rethinking from the inside out. Culturally competent research proves ineffective if team tensions remain unresolved. They aid organizations in designing with care, creating useful and resilient products for the global majority.
I'd love to see more people that look like me in positions of power, actively using their creativity to decolonize our current structures of power. - Afreen
