Trends in the regeneration space
Many of our members are working or want to enter the regenerative climate space. Here are some key takeaways from our recent community discussion.
Within IMMA, we’ve started running Clarity Circles. You could think of these gatherings as "label reading sessions," where we help each other read the labels that are hard to see from the inside of the jar. The last one was focused on our offerings.
How it works:
Members bring an example of their work or a specific question. Through clarifying questions and a collective brainstorm, we dive deeper to offer fresh perspectives and ideas. It's amazing how we can clarify things for others while finding it tricky to do the same for ourselves!
What are the trends and offerings you see around Regeneration?
Recently, Cecilia Scolaro sparked a vibrant discussion by asking, 'What are the current trends and offerings in Regeneration?' Here’s what we unearthed from our group’s collective wisdom that can be relevant for solopreneurs in this space:
🌱 Education First
There's a big focus right now on teaching people about regenerative practices. It’s hard to work on creating solutions if people don’t understand why it matters and what Regeneration is. Many in this sector are crafting content and courses to raise awareness and deepen understanding in an area that’s still budding and not yet broadly grasped.
✍️ Creating Content
Aligning with the educational focus, there’s a significant emphasis on creating content that’s both engaging and informative. This approach not only educates but also bolsters credibility and authority within the regenerative field, helping you become the go-to person.
🌍 Building the Field
The pioneers of regeneration are hard at work with what they call "field building." They're laying down the groundwork, making sure everyone gets what regeneration is about. This requires a lot of community engagement and networking.
🤝 Community & Networking
Networking remains a pivotal strategy for many. Those in regenerative fields often focus on building networks and partnerships with others who share their goals. Together, we can amplify our impact and create opportunities by working together.
By the way, our next Impactful Connections — our monthly networking event — is happening tomorrow. More than 60 professionals have registered, so it’s a great way to expand your connections.
📜 Syncing with Policy and Funds
Particularly in the U.S., several members and organisations are aligning their offerings with new climate policies and the funding that comes with them. The same applies in other countries; aligning and reframing their offerings to match regulations and compliance is helpful to secure necessary funding.
🌟 Integrating regeneration into existing practices
Beyond education, some are bringing regenerative principles into conventional services like design or branding for eco-conscious clients.

There's much more to say about this, but in essence, it’s sometimes incredibly challenging to be a pioneer and build a market. So, kudos to you if you are working in this space!
What are your thoughts on these trends? What have you observed in the field? Please share your insights in the comments.
